San Francisco, Redwood City (California), Beijing, Luxembourg and, since May 2011, Saarbrücken, too. Not even six months after its establishment, Kabam – game developer and trendsetter in the field of social gaming – has drawn a positive balance. The U.S. company with European headquarters in Luxembourg (Kabam Europe) has well considered to choose Saarland as its German location. Another example proving that Saarland offers best prerequisites for investors.

`At the Science Park Saar 2, located in direct vicinity of the campus of the Saarland University, we have found ideal conditions`, says Managing Director Dirk Ackermann. `Saarbrücken is only 80 km away from Kabam Europe in Luxembourg. So, we are also close to our European headquarters. Last but not least, the location in Saarbrücken was affordable for us`. The specialist for online games is still in its set-up period, but this will be completed soon. `By mid 2012, we want to build increase our staff in Saarbrücken to roughly 50 employees`, says the 44-year old Saarlander.
